Audio stops in the background
Enable "Background Mode" in the app's settings. Also make sure your device is not in Silent mode (iOS: Settings → Sounds).
No speech output
Go to iOS Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices and make sure a voice for your language is downloaded.
Ads are displayed
Ads help keep the app free. To opt out of personalized ads, go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
No notification when countdown reaches zero
When the app is in the foreground, it announces the end by voice. For background notifications, enable "Background Mode" in the app's settings.
